Jennifer GibsonJennifer Gibson

Director of Human Resources

Jennifer Gibson has over 20 years’ experience in human resources management in various industries including healthcare, manufacturing and employee leasing.  Jennifer earned a dual degree-MBA and Master’s in Organizational Management. Her undergraduate degree is in Business Administration.  She holds the designation Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), SHRM- Senior Certified Professional (SCP), and has earned certificates in Mediation and HR Management.

Jennifer is an active member of the national Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).  She spends time supporting the Arizona Society for Human Resources Management (AZ-SHRM) by volunteering on conference committees and is a previous AZ-SHRM board member.  In 2016, she joined Cancer Support Community-Arizona as a board member.

When Jennifer is not working or volunteering she enjoys spending time running, biking and singing in a community chorus.

When I joined Recovery Innovations on September 5, 2000, I was excited but had no idea that my new job would take me on such an amazing journey. My career with Recovery Innovations, then called META Services, began with helping prepare, present, and experience the joy of participating in Peer Employment Training. The fifteen individuals and two other team members that were part of that first Peer Employment Training gave me a fantastic opportunity to see recovery happen and experience it first-hand! I am originally from the Garden State of New Jersey but was raised in North Phoenix in the Grand Canyon State of AZ. Being several skin shades paler than a traditional hyper-tanned ‘Jersey Girl’, I am still a ‘Jersey Girl’ at heart. I love the shore, Tasty Kakes, Bon Jovi, shopping, any almost any kind of Italian cheese, and hand-tossed-thin-crust pizza. What more could you want?! Sunshine! And, even though NJ has a piece of my heart, I couldn’t resist the allure of almost-year-round sunshine and I stayed in AZ attending Northern Arizona University (NAU) for my undergraduate studies. Dr. Fishman has developed and directed adolescent chemical dependency and adult outpatient co-occurring disorder programs in both upstate and metropolitan New York areas, and is the co-founder of the Human Services Consultation and Training Institute, offering statewide and national professional trainings in specific clinical, chemical dependency, behavioral health, school psychology, and education areas. Beth Hammonds MS, LMHC, Joined RI International in March of 2015 as the Outpatient Regional Director for California and Washington.  Prior to working at RI international she worked in community behavioral health in the State of Washington for over 30 years, specializing in program development, implementation, and leadership in the following areas; Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Domestic Violence, Mental Health Court, Employment, Trauma Informed Care, Recovery Culture/Services and her proudest accomplishment was her leadership in championing Peer Support in the State of Washington. Elizabeth Collins joined RI International in MONTH of YEAR. A forward thinking leader with over 15 years of management and claims experience at the Health Plan level. Elizabeth streamlines effective billing processes across multiple markets. She has strong leadership and ability to prioritize, plan and direct the department. A personal priority for Elizabeth remains her team. She has a strong dedication to support them in their growth, motivation and development. She works closely with all departments to improve process efficiencies.

On a personal side, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her family.

Regional Director – North Carolina Outpatient

My career has included such roles as mobile crisis clinician; Intake and Crisis clinician for a military demonstration project; family therapist for at risk Juvenile Justice involved youth;  Clinical Social Worker for Developmental Evaluation Center (evaluation teams assessing children birth to 5 years who are at risk for developmental disabilities); manager of mobile crisis teams; regional clinical director of Eastern NC for a large behavioral health provider company; Clinical Coordinator with one of the State Managed Care Organizations; and now regional director for RI International’s outpatient programs in NC.
