K. Ann Holland, M.Ed., LCSW

ann-holland-250wRegional Director – North Carolina Outpatient

I am a 30 year veteran of working in the behavioral health field in the State of North Carolina. In that time, I have worked with all age groups of each sub-population identified in NC (mental health, substance use and intellectually developmentally disabled).

I graduated from UNC-Greensboro with a Master’s Degree in Education in Community Mental Health Counseling in 1989. In 1993, I was grandfathered as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Most of my career has been in public service, working with the Medicaid population, evolving with the many changes that have occurred in North Carolina through Medicaid Reform.

My career has included such roles as mobile crisis clinician; Intake and Crisis clinician for a military demonstration project; family therapist for at risk Juvenile Justice involved youth;  Clinical Social Worker for Developmental Evaluation Center (evaluation teams assessing children birth to 5 years who are at risk for developmental disabilities); manager of mobile crisis teams; regional clinical director of Eastern NC for a large behavioral health provider company; Clinical Coordinator with one of the State Managed Care Organizations; and now regional director for RI International’s outpatient programs in NC.
