Beth Hammonds MS, LMHC, Joined RI International in March of 2015 as the Outpatient Regional Director for California and Washington.  Prior to working at RI international she worked in community behavioral health in the State of Washington for over 30 years, specializing in program development, implementation, and leadership in the following areas; Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Domestic Violence, Mental Health Court, Employment, Trauma Informed Care, Recovery Culture/Services and her proudest accomplishment was her leadership in championing Peer Support in the State of Washington.   She is a trained public speaker and consults to other behavioral health organization, universities, conferences and workshops on the topics of Trauma Informed Care, Recovery, De-escalation, Peer Support, and Peer Supervision.  Beth is also a certified Mental Health First Aid Instructors through the National Behavioral Health Council.

Behavioral health services should include treatment, but for treatment to work the individual seeking treatment must be empowered and have choice.  This is RI International expertise; we are the bridge between treatment and recovery, teaching individuals how to integrate treatment and recovery to find the right path for them through education, mentorship, advocacy and clinical expertise.    Beth is using her many years of experience and training to lead the western region outpatient services in recovery, peer, and clinical services, bringing her passion to work in creative ways that infuse those around her with passion.
