Michael Louton

Director of Information Technology

Born and raised in the San Francisco East Bay area of California, I graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business, from University of California Berkley. I worked in large to medium size corporations through 1980. From 1980 through 1999, we had family owned businesses where I worked in different positions from technician and customer service clerk up to President and general manager. Being a small business, I had to wear a number of hats, one of them being the “computer guy.” It was at this time I started thinking of a new career in technology.

In 2000, both my wife and I changed professions and moved to Austin, TX. I pursued IT and worked for Dell, while she completed the prerequisites for Pharmacy School. We relocated to Phoenix and I joined Recovery Innovations (META Services back then, and now RI International) in 2004 and my wife became a pharmacist.

When schedules permit, I spend as much of my “free” time with my wife and best friend. We try to have a Sunday dinner with our sons and their families as often as possible. We have been fortunate to get to travel to Mexico, the Caribbean, and some of Kenya, Africa. We hope to continue to enjoy the wonders of our country and some of the rest of the world.

As a member of the Technology Team of RI International, I have had the opportunity to apply my experiences as an entrepreneur and technologist, while striving to provide the very best service and solutions to our staff, participants, and stakeholders.
