Carole Pfeil, Chief Communications and Marketing Officer

Carole Pfeil squareAs Chief Communications and Marketing Officer (CCMO) for RI International, Carole Pfeil helps spread the word about our organization and the remarkable difference that we (along with our participants and partners) are making by empowering those who face mental health and addiction challenges.

Before joining RI International, Pfeil served as Senior Vice President (SVP) Marketing Communications for Dohmen Life Science Services (DLSS). While in that role she created actionable marketing and messaging strategies to support growth objectives for Dohmen and its seven divisions, while consolidating the brands to create DLSS. Previous experience also includes serving as VP, Client Communications for Fortune Global 500 staffing company Adecco USA, and Director of Marketing and Business Development for IHS, a division of IMS Health. At IHS, Pfeil managed the brand, public relations, and assisted with business development to win contracts with eight of the top ten pharmaceutical companies. Pfeil’s “both sides of the fence” experience includes having served as a news reporter and agency PR director;  and as an administrator for a $10 million foundation as well as  a non-profit fund-raiser.

Highlights of her early career as a TV, radio and print news reporter included a press conference with former President George H. W. Bush, and experiencing skydiving for the first (and last) time while interviewing an instructor.

Why do you work for RI International?

I’m thrilled to serve in a role with a higher purpose – spreading hope to others — as I seek to shine a spot-light on RI’s clinical excellence as well as the stories of recovery and improved health of those we serve.
