Recovery Education Center

Phoenix, Arizona
Administrator: Aaron Foster

With a deliberate strategy of converting traditional treatment interventions to educational opportunities, the Recovery Education Center was formed with the objective of providing education to people who have had psychiatric experiences, their families, as well as the mental health provider community. On January 1, 2017, the Recovery Education Center became a part of the newly established RI Career Center.

The Recovery Education Center is licensed as a Private Post-secondary Vocational School by the State of Arizona. As well as self-improvement and social skills classes (Non-Credit Workshops), three certificate programs are offered through our school; each leading to certification in Arizona as a Recovery/Peer Support Specialist:

Our certificate programs can translate to college credit (receiving colleges have the right and responsibility to determine how much credit is given for each course).
