Sarah Blanka

Recovery Services Administrator
Recovery Response Center – Peoria

I received the opportunity to join the RI International team in 2014.  Prior to coming to RI, I served for six years in various roles at the Crisis Response Network (CRN).  While there I became the Vice President of Crisis Services, responsible for the crisis call center operations for Maricopa County.  While I am a licensed counselor by profession, I have always loved working in the crisis field. As the Regional Director for Arizona Crisis Programs I oversee the Peoria Recovery Response Center as well as the Peoria Crisis Respite program.  In addition to these responsibilities I have been a regular contributor to Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training for law enforcement for several years.  I regularly contribute as an educator on Autism as well as suicide prevention.  I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and French at Kansas State University and went on to pursue my Master’s in Counseling at Arizona State University.
