The CHOICES Learning Center provides recovery education and recovery supports to participants of the CHOICES Program. The center is designed to support participants to experience wellness, recovery and resiliency. Participants will develop and internalize the skills and self-empowerment required to culitvate resources in the community that support their recovery and graduation from the service team. Through recovery education and peer support, hundreds of individuals who would otherwise not exit service teams will design their own “exit strategy” and create lives of greater independence.
The impact of CHOICES Learning Center is enhanced and expanded by the training and technical assistance of existing staff and managers of the Adult Service Team and existing consumer-run programs currently operating in Alameda County.
