Arneice Ritchie

Arneice RitchieArneice Ritchie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who attained her Associates Degree in Human Service from Delaware Tech and Community College, and both her Bachelor and Master Degrees in Social Work from Delaware State University. Arneice is also a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Her past clinical experiences include substance abuse and mental health treatment within residential and outpatient therapeutic settings.

Arneice gained her initial experience in substance abuse performing in an administrative role within a residential setting. After obtaining a certification as an HIV/AIDS Counselor and Tester, Arneice advanced to Program Lead of the HIV education program within the same residential facility. Clinical experiences include residential and outpatient therapy, providing individual and group therapy sessions with adolescents and adults with mental health and substance concerns. Supervisory experiences include Clinical Manager, Clinical Coordinator and Clinical Supervisor of outpatient and residential substance abuse programs, which involved collaborations with Delaware Probation and Parole, Treatment Access Center, Division of Family Services and Child Mental Health Services. For over 5 years, Arneice has functioned in the role of a Faculty Field Liaison with Delaware State University, providing educational support to students throughout their field practicum experiences.

Arneice strives to provide exceptional services to her clients through utilization of a holistic and person centered approach. The services that are provided are tailored to the needs of each client to create an approach that empowers each client to recognize the strength that they encompass to create change. The same approach is utilized to promote staff development through facilitation of clinical supervision and trainings.
