Welcome to the Recovery Crisis Respite Program at the Peoria Recovery Response Center

The Recovery Innovations' Recovery Crisis Respite Program is an innovative crisis solution in Maricopa County serving individuals facing behavioral health challenges. Located on the Peoria Campus of Connection along with the Peoria Recovery Response Center and the H.E.A.R.T.S program, our 13-bed facility provides a supportive environment for those in need of immediate assistance through peer support and short-term residential assistance. The RCRP helps those experiencing psychiatric symptoms avoid potential losses such as jobs, income and family/social support, and provides an empowering alternative to psychiatric hospitalization or incarceration. This program is designed for voluntary adults, 18 years and older.

Our Services: The Recovery Crisis Respite Program offers a warm and welcoming environment to support its treatment options including peer support and short-term residential assistance. Please see our available services list for the full continuum of care that is available.

Our Mission: Our program is designed to help individuals experiencing psychiatric symptoms avoid potential losses such as jobs, income, and family or social support. We offer an empowering alternative to psychiatric hospitalization or incarceration, providing a pathway to recovery in a supportive environment.

Our Approach: We embrace a peer-powered approach, where individuals with lived experience in recovery provide empathy and understanding, seamlessly integrated with our clinical and medical expertise to ensure holistic, person-centered care, ensuring that our care is trauma-informed, compassionate, and inviting. Our goals are to reduce the intensity of symptoms, prevent harm, and facilitate recovery.

No Fee for Service: Our services are funded by your local Managed Care Organizations, so there is no charge to guests.
